Finale 27が、新しい macOS Monterey に対応しているのか確認中のため、アップグレード保留中ですが…

先日、新しい macOS Monterey が出て、無償でアップグレードできるようになりました。

アップグレードしたい！と思ったのですが、ここでやはり気になるのは、楽譜ソフト、Finaleの対応状況です。

アナウンスが早速出ていました。まだ公開バージョンでの動作確認が終わっていないので保証はしないよ、とのことです。

プロ（職業音楽家）であれば、絶対にアップグレードしないところですが、リスクを取れるアマチュアとしては、OSのベータ版が良好な結果だというので、まあ大丈夫かも、と思ってしまったりもしています。さて、待つか、上げちゃうか。悩ましいところです。

macOS 12 Monterey and Finale Notation and Garritan Products

Apple has recently released their newest OS, macOS 12 Monterey. We have been testing Notation and Garritan products with the beta releases of the OS and we have seen good results so far. We are continuing our testing with the publicly-released version now that is has been released.
With that being said, at this point we do not yet consider this macOS within the system requirements for our Notation and Garritan products. Since this is not yet supported, we do not recommend you update to this OS yet if you rely on our products until we can fully test the public release.

Appleは最近、最新のOSであるmacOS 12 Montereyをリリースしました。 OSのベータリリースでNotationおよびGarritan製品をテストしており、これまでのところ良好な結果が得られています。現在リリースされている公開バージョンでテストを続けています。
そうは言っても、現時点では、NotationおよびGarritan製品のシステム要件内でこのmacOSを検討していません。これはまだサポートされていないため、パブリックリリースを完全にテストできるようになるまで、当社の製品に依存している場合は、このOSに更新することはお勧めしません。

（追記）macOS 12には対応しているとのアナウンスが出ています。安心してOSをアップグレードできます。
